Note: This is just a concept, not yet to be a real scene of Tammin’s story!

The first time she met him, was in Leblanc, enjoying her dinner. The second time was at school and she wanted to hang out with him after the studio event.

That was her first mistake.

She was dragged into the Metaverse the very same month, and she knew her life as a normal person was over.

Joker, is what Ren went by. Star could only admire him as a leader and friend, how he helps others and makes sure no one would get hurt. She followed every order that was seen fit, and seeing him fight is what she copied as well.

That was her second mistake.

What was this feeling? Ever since Makoto joined, he had been distancing from Tammin. ‘That doesn’t matter, she is a friend, why would I be mad about that?’, is what she would think. And yet her fists clenched when she saw the two alone together.

Her chest hurts, but why? Is she out of breath again? Impossible, she didn’t run that much at all today.

“Hey, are you alright? You don’t look like yourself you know”, Ren asked her when they hung out.

“Yeah, I’m fine..Just didn’t sleep. I guess I should go to bed early today eh?”, she said, but Ren could see she wasn’t okay. He wanted to reach out, but she turned away before he could. “I should go home, it is getting late”, she said in a silent tone, but even he could see she was shaking. She was running away before he could say something.

Her heart is aching for his touch however.

She didn’t go to school that week. She laid in her bed, only coming out when needed, and that was usually only for showering or eating.

Futaba: eeyyyaaa, What’s up? You okay?

Tammin didn’t answer.

Makoto: Is there something wrong? You haven’t been at school for a week or said anything in chats, is everything alright over there?

No, it wasn’t. It hasn’t been okay for months.

Ann: I am here for you, you know? We can go to the Diner and talk if you are up for it

Oh how she wished she had the courage too.

Ryuji: Come on dude! None of us have seen your face in days, are you sick? Hope not, we still have Phantom Thief shit to do!

Right, the Phantom Thieves. Where her troubles begun, where she felt like herself, but her face was always red and her heart was pounding faster when looking at him.

Ren: Did we do anything wrong? I know you aren’t sick, please tell us. If you don’t want to, that’s fine. You can always come to me if it is something you can’t tell everyone about.

She cried reading all of the messages, laying her hand on her chest, where he heart was.

[Phantom Groupchat]

You: Nothing is wrong, please stop.

Noir: Tammin-chan, it isn’t like you to suddenly cut us out, we know something is wrong.

Fox: Certainly, the longing for love and jealousy was all written over your face whenever we meet up.

‘Damn you.’

You: I am fine, please leave it be. I don’t feel like going to school, that’s all.

Queen: Are you skipping then?

You: No

Avoiding would be the better word.

Oracle: Oh Inari, now you’ve done it!

Crow: If I may, we do need your help into finding the treasure of Sae-san, I hope you haven’t forgotten?

Right, Sae. She was supposed to help the thieves and get the treasure, just for the traitor to arrest their leader.

Oracle: read the room!

You: I haven’t forgotten, I will be there. Now leave me alone.

She is pushing them away, she knows she does.

[Ren Amamiya: One new message]

Ren: Don’t push us me away, we I Want to help you. Please call me, I want to hear your voice. Are you dealing with something difficult?

You: I don’t know what to do, my chest has been hurting. It has been since I have seen you for the first time, please just return what I feel, please…

Ren: Have you seen a doctor? I know someone that can help.

You: Not that kind of pain. The pain of seeing you someone with other girls. And I am the lovestruck moron who gets jealous of her friends.

[Ren Amamiya, incoming call…]

“Why-“

“Don’t push me away again, we need to talk. We all know something is wrong, and we want to help you. Doesn’t matter who or what is hurting you. We can I want and will help you.

“You would just push me away instead”, she said, the crying from before evident in her voice.

“Why would I do that?”

“Because I can’t handle the fact that you would reject me the moment I say that I am in love with you!”

She loves him, so much that it is hurting her.
